Every lesson has the same shape

Children settle when they know what is coming. The topics change every week; the structure does not.

Warm up
A couple of questions, a meme to read out, a piece of news worth an opinion. Talking starts before any grammar appears — that is deliberate. The first minutes decide whether a child speaks for the rest of the hour.
Revision
A quick check of the vocabulary from last time, and sometimes from a month ago. Fast, out loud, no test paper. This is where I find out what actually stuck.
The main topic
Games and flashcards for the younger ones, and topics chosen as close to your child's own interests as I can get. When a word is not understood: a picture first, hands and face always, and only as a last resort one single word in their language.
A song or a game
We finish with gap-fill lyrics or something played together. It is the part they mention at dinner, and it is also revision — they just don't notice.

Around the lesson

The parts that happen between Tuesdays

Every student has one. All the material from every lesson is attached there, so your child can revise alone and you can see what we covered.

Memorise what we covered. That is it. I check it at the start of the next lesson, out loud, and we move on.

Constant contact with parents. If something changed — a breakthrough, a bad week, a topic worth pushing — you will know about it.

Nobody is corrected into silence. Children try things, get them wrong, and try again. That is what the small group is for.

The practical bits

Lesson length: 60 minutes; 45 minutes for younger learners, 90 for exam preparation
Group size: 1 to 3 students; Individual, a pair, or a group of three. Never more.
Platform: Microsoft Teams; A link before every lesson. Nothing to install for most families.
Children: 16:00–21:00; Monday to Friday, Spanish time. Poland is one hour ahead.
Adults: Mornings; The 9:00 to 15:00 window, when the children are at school
Language: English; Spanish or Polish only for one word, when nothing else works

Thirty minutes, free, and you get a written note on your child's level afterwards.
